Company Description
Sappi Ngodwana Mill requires a Superintendent Outside Services to maximize plant performance in a safe, legal and cost-effective manner within specification by utilizing available resources.
Key Responsibilities
– Ensure adherence to customer quality requirements. – Communicate the output requirements to the section and ensures the achievement of these output targets. – Ensure adherence to all required business processes within the area of responsibility. – Execute annual business plan / Budget / Capex requests for the Outside Services Section (Water, Effluent and Sewage Plants). – Manage the Outside Services Section to adhere to DWARF environmental regulations. – Manage the landfall site and solid waste removal to requirements and permit to meet standards of DWARF, DEAT and the environmental impact. – Liaise with the maintenance departments regarding daily work scheduling, priorities, outstanding work and work to be completed during unplanned and planned outages on the Outside Services Plants.
Minimum Requirements
– National Diploma Pulp and Paper or National Diploma Environmental Science – NQF level 4 Water and Wastewater treatment will be advantageous – 5 Years’ experience within Water and Waste treatment
