Introduction
Sappi Ngodwana Mill requires a Production Manager to ensure effective management of the Utilities and Services section through optimum production output with the required quality and minimum downtime.
Key Responsibilities
– Responsible for all Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (SHEQ) systems within the section and the implementation of all SHEQ rules and regulations – Responsible for optimal plant efficiency within the section – Responsible for formulation and execution of the annual business plan – Manage the short and long business plan / objectives to satisfy internal and external customer needs – Manage productivity of all relevant resources within the area of responsibility – Liaise with the Engineering Department regarding daily work schedules, priorities, outstanding work and work during planned and unplanned plant shutdowns – Ensure cost efficiencies are monitored and cost expenditure is within budget – Responsible for the overall fixed and variable cost performance
Minimum Requirements
– B Tech Pulp and Paper or B.Sc or B.Eng Degree in Chemical Engineering – Relevant Management qualification – 8 Years relevant production experience – 2 Years Managerial experience
