UNISA Registartion 2020: How to register online, self-help, post & fax registration

Unisa registration for 2020 (1st Semester) is now open.

University of South Africa (Unisa) offers four methods of registration for 2020 which includes online, self-help, post & fax registration.

Successful applicants and re-registering students must register to study through Unisa in 2020.

Registration Open: 3 January 2020
Registration Closing: 01 February 2020

How to Register

Applicants can only begin the registration process if they have received an official approval of their application; and re-registering students can begin the registration process after receiving their registration details from Unisa.

Should you wish to change to an alternative qualification, please apply for the alternative qualification during the next application period.

Online Registration

Go to the Unisa registration website: http://registration.unisa.ac.za

Self-help Registration

In person at a self-help computer terminal

Before going to a Unisa regional office, read through this website carefully to ensure that you complete the registration form correctly.

When you arrive at a Unisa regional office, you’ll be referred to a self-help computer terminal. Finalise your registration by following the prompts/instructions on the screen. Unisa staff will be in the registration halls to assist you.

Official Saturdays open: 13 and 20 January, 17 February, 30 June and 7 July 2018.  Self-help centres are open from 08:00 to 15:30 week days and from 08:00 to 11:30 on Saturdays.

Post and Fax Registration

Please check that you have completed the registration form correctly using the information on this website. Errors or inaccuracies may result in your registration being delayed. Unisa therefore urge you to register online or by making use of our self-help terminals at Unisa regional offices.

Completed registration documents and payments must reach Unisa before the closing date for registrations. Please don’t include cash or cheques with your documents. Completed registration forms can also be faxed to 012 429 4150 or posted to Registration @ Unisa, PO Box 392, Unisa, 0003.

Pay the minimum fees at any Standard Bank branch, using your student number as your reference number when paying. Proof of payment must be faxed to Unisa on 012 429 4150 or included with your registration documents.
