An opportunity has arisen for a high calibre Operations Manager to oversee, lead and manage all aspects of a high-volume FMCG operation and to ensure consistent high-level service quality and customer satisfaction, profitable, cost efficient operations, and compliance
Duties & Responsibilities
• Develop, establish, and execute operating plans and strategy for the short, medium and long term • Develop and monitor systems to manage operational work, operating processes and procedures • Maintain and monitor operating processes and procedures • Lead the various technology based operational excellence initiatives within the business • Oversee risk management and legal activities including but not limited to letters of agreement, contracts, leases, and other legal documents and agreements
Minimum Requirements
• Tertiary Qualification in transportation and logistics • Excellent Computer skills • Excellent management and human resources skills • Good understanding of accounting processes • Business and financial acumen • Knowledge of financial management principles • 8 – 10 Years at senior operational level within the transportation industry • Strong communication skills
