Duties and responsibilities:

Gain exposure and perform the following tasks:

  • Process transactions on PeopleSoft.
  • Capture data.
  • Assist with NSFAS/bursary allocations, disbursements, and funding related administration.
  • Journalize rectifications/changes to accounts/entities.
  • Handle account and general enquiries.

Inherent requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or a B-Tech degree in Accounting or related field on NQF level 7.

The following criteria apply to the selection of candidates:

  • Not currently participating in an existing learnership / internship programme.
  • Willing to sign a learnership / internship agreement with the UFS.
  • Candidate must be available for a period of 1 year.
  • Postgraduate qualification will serve as a recommendation.

Assumption of duties:

As soon as possible.

Salary:

The salary is R7 353.50 per month.
