Purpose

Requirements

  • Grade 12 plus Certificate
  • 2 years relevant working experience

Skills & Competencies

  • Knowledge of Government legislation relevant to Education and Training practices
  • Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
  • Planning and Organising skills with good attention to detail
  • Proficiency in MS Office package

Responsibilities

  • Monitoring, receiving, checking applications / correspondence in relation to ETD programs
  • Executing the payments of ETD accounts and recovery of funds from beneficiaries that defaulted on service obligation
  • Updating and recording various transactions associated with ETD functions on SAP
  • Creating and maintaining ETD records
  • Drafting letter and/ or reports around external opportunities and responding in writing to enquiries from clients on all ETD related programmes
  • Compilation, reconciliation, research and presentation of stats/annual reports to management
  • Providing relevant ETD information/statistics for compiling the Workplace Skills Plan, the BBBEE report as well as other city reports
  • Maintain student files and database, ensuring data integrity, management of students’ payments and debtors
