The graduate will provide administrative and financial analysis support to the Banking and Markets Business Managers in Johannesburg, whose main responsibilities include:
Responsibilities:
- Understanding of financial instruments and banking
- Preparation of business plan and strategy overview to drive the business forward (new product, market, client segment)
- Analysis of financial performance including analysis, forecasts and pipelines; identify productivity initiatives and drive implementation
- Understand control environment and provide gap analysis
- Review compliance policies within the location
- Partner with regional Business Managers and cross LOB Business Managers to ensure consistency and best practices
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in:
- Business,
- Finance,
- Economics,
- or related fields
Competencies:
We look for candidates with the following:
- Firm grasp of finance, financial principles and accounting
- Self-motivated, tenacious and able to work with high degree of independence
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong time management and prioritization skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to interact with people across the organisation
- Full proficiency in MS Office suite
- Fluency in English is a prerequisite
