Description
  • Manage a semi-skilled construction team, including hiring & training of casual labourers, during Road Closures and Onsite Civils.
  • Install, Repair and Maintaining of Traffic Monitoring & Law Enforcement Camera Sites.
  • Assisting Technicians with call-outs, fault finding and repairs.
  • Look after company Vehicles, Workshop and Equipment.
  • General day to day administration and reporting to Managers.
  • Able to work independently with good conflict resolution and communication skills.
  • Be prepared to travel and stay away from home regularly.
  • Be prepared to work flexible hours, sometimes late and over weekends regularly.

  • Be able to work alone and well in a team-orientated environment.
  • Must have a relentless drive to do things better, and maintain excellent standards.
  • Capable of building quality professional relationships with clients and local road authorities. Must be able to function in a pressured environment independently.
  • Be able to Multi-task and Problem Solve.
  • Must be hands on and having an aptitude for mechanics is a plus.
  • Willing to learn new skills, able to multi-task and problem solve.
  • Ability to train/coach others in skills learnt.
  • MS Office Expertise (Word, Excel & Outlook) an Advantage.
  • Project Management Expertise an Advantage.
  • Floor Saw Operational Expertise an Advantage.

Qualifications:

  • Grade 12 with Maths & Science essential.
  • Computer Literacy with experience in MS Word, Excel & Outlook essential.
  • Valid Code EC1 (14) Driver’s Licence essential.

Experience :

Drivers Licence – 3 Years Min.

Team Management – 2 Years min.
Road Works/Closures – 2 Years min.

Administration Skills – 2 Years min.

Computer Literacy – 2 Years min.
