Western Cape Blood Service

The Western Cape Blood Service is a non-profit, independent organisation operating throughout the Western Cape. We work without prejudice to supply safe blood and blood products to all communities in the region, from Cape Town all the way up to George. It’s our goal to be the benchmark transfusion service in South Africa

We employ more than 520 people who are proud to be part of the providing essential blood and blood products to support the health needs of the Western Cape.

With the help of over 70 000 voluntary blood donors, together we save lives.
