Glencore

Glencore is a Swiss multinational company that deals with mining and commodity trading. The company was founded in 1974 and is headquartered in Baar, Switzerland. Glencore’s operations include the production, marketing, processing, storage, and transportation of minerals, metals, energy, and agricultural products. 

Glencore is the world’s leading mining company by revenue, but a large portion of its revenue comes from trading commodities. Glencore has around 140,000 employees and contractors and operates in over 35 countries. 

Glencore’s ordinary shares are listed on the London Stock Exchange (LSE) and the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE).
