DeARX Services- Finance Business Analyst

We are looking for a highly skilled Business Analyst with strong accounting (NAV) experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in business analysis and financial accounting. As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing business processes and requirements, identifying areas of improvement, and recommending solutions that will enhance our operations and financial performance.

Duration: 6-month project (Hybrid role in Western Cape)

Role requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on financial accounting and reporting
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Experience with Agile methodologies a plus

Role responsibilities:

• Analyze existing business processes and systems to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for enhancements
• Conduct requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into functional requirements
• Collaborate with developers, project managers, and other stakeholders to design, develop, and implement solutions
• Develop test plans and test cases to ensure solutions meet business requirements
• Support end-users by troubleshooting issues and providing ongoing system support
• Perform data analysis and reporting as needed to support business decisions
• Participate in project planning and execution activities
