About Babylonstoren
One of the first Cape Dutch farms, Babylonstoren is a 200-hectare wine estate with Eden-like vineyards and orchards offering acres of fresh produce used by the farm’s two in-house restaurants. It is a leisure compound with whitewashed cottages, and wine tasting rooms set in the Drakenstein Valley at the foot of the breathtaking Babel mountain.
Babylonstoren Photography Internship 2022
The Photography Intern will be part of Babylonstoren’s creative team and will be performing the following key duties and responsibilities:
- Provide assistance to photographers
- Perform basic editing tasks as per brief from the lead photographer
- Be responsible for setting up and transporting studio equipment
- Back up digital content
- Make sure photo equipment are well-maintained and stocked correctly
- Perform content creation and other relevant tasks in support of the creative team
Who should apply?
Applicants must be able to satisfy the role’s minimum eligibility criteria to qualify for consideration:
- Holds a tertiary diploma or degree in photography
- Excellent skills in Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Lightroom, and other editing software
- Hardworking and keen on learning and continuous growth
- A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced work environment
- A team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Fluent in verbal and written English and Afrikaans
- Preferably with an eye for aesthetics and detail
- Sound administrative and organization skills
- Amenable with flexible work hours assisting the team as needed
- Physically healthy and strong to carry equipment and work in a farm
- Available to work onsite in a full-time capacity
- Must have own transport
