The City of Johannesburg (CoJ) has the following Internship opportunities available for a period NOT exceeding 18 months.
Minimum Requirements:
- Ages between 18 – 35 years;
- Only City of Joburg residents will be considered.
- No experience required.

International Relations Interns
Department: Group Strategy, Policy Coordination and Relations Department (GSPCR)
Degree or National Diploma in:
- International Relations,
- Public Administration,
- Development Studies
- or related field
Finance Interns
- Matric / Grade 12 plus a Diploma / degree in: Finance / Accounting or equivalent qualification
Strategic Coordination & Integration Interns
Department: Environmental & Infrastructure Department
Degree in:
- Environmental Management,
- Environmental Sciences,
- Conservation Management o
- or closely related discipline
IT Interns
- Matric/Grade 12 plus a Diploma/degree in: Information Technology or equivalent qualification
- Understanding of ICT Systems;
Skills and Competencies:
- Computer Literacy (Microsoft Word and Excel).
- Excellent Communication skills including presentation skills.
- Organising skills and attention to detail.
- Coordinating skills.
- Good report writing skills.
- Time management and being able to work under pressure.
