What will you learn?
During the 12 month full-time learnership with Red & Yellow, you will be taught and equipped with all the theory based knowledge that will help you succeed in your role at Flow Communications. You will also be fully mentored by a team member from Flow Communications throughout your journey with Red & Yellow – upon successful completion of your 12 months, you’ll be ready to join the awesome team at Flow Communications!
User-Centered Design Learnership
The role will see you applying and practicing user-centered design, prototyping, interaction, and user Interface-Design as well as Design Thinking. Daily, work will be given to you in time frames with log times therefore it is important to work accurately and efficiently.
Learnership Requirements:
- Proficient with computers and google suite.
- Matric and diploma in design-related fields and/or the communications/PR related fields
- Proof of disability (Drs Note)
- Previous work experience would be an advantage
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills with close attention to detail
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Good people, communication and presentation skills
- Solutions driven & Team player
- Must have stable internet connectivity at all times
More about what you’ll be doing in the role: User Centered Design
- Responsible for various visual and user-centred designs, from social media designs, websites, campaigns, branding, print work, innovation, user research theory and methods
- Application and Practice of User-Centered Design, Prototyping, Interaction and User Interface-Design, Design Thinking approach
- Seeing projects through from concept to design and production
- Work closely and collaboratively with other teams on all creative projects
- Personally work on graphic development
- Interact with project managers, designers and strategists to develop creative concepts and executions
- Work within given time frames and log time accurately and daily
- Present design work at various stages to parties involved for review and final approval
- Supports PR, Project Management, Content, Social Media and Sales teams in creating material
- Work well independently and as a team
- Take direction well and is able to excel in a highly collaborative work environment
- Ensure all work consistently meets established brand standards and guidelines
