The Government Pensions Administration Agency (GPAA) would like to invite applications from qualifying learners to participate in an Experiential Learning Programme.

The Programme is aimed at affording experiential learners an opportunity to be exposed to the work environment, with the aim to assist learners to complete the practical part of their studies in order to graduate. Learning takes place under the guidance of more experienced professionals. The Programme will involve a period ranging from 6 months to a maximum of 24 months, as prescribed by the Higher Educational institution.

Note: Appointment in the organisation after the Programme is not guaranteed.

Please email your application, quoting the relevant reference number in the subject line (and on the Z83) to the correct email address indicated above before 21 August 2020 at 12h00 noon. Separate applications should be completed for each Experiential Learning Programme applied for and the relevant reference number / s must be quoted.

Preference will be given to learners from Accredited Higher Education institutions (registered with SAQA).

Applicants are expected to possess additional competencies, namely communication and basic computer skills relevant to the role.

REQUIREMENTS:

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Must be unemployed learners;
  • South African Citizens;
  • Between the ages of 18-35; and
  • Applicants should not have participated in an Experiential Learning Programme relevant to the qualification the learner is studying towards. Failure to disclose this information will result in immediate termination of the learning programme contract on account of dishonesty / undue enrichment.

The below identified qualifications are targeted for the GPAA 2020 Intake:
