The University of South Africa (Unisa) is positioned to lead and advance open distance learning (ODL) research to improve the quality and delivery of teaching and eLearning.
The UNESCO Chair on Open Distance Learning is embarking on a drive to recruit ten Post-Doctoral Fellows for the purpose of conducting and publishing ODL research, as well and supporting ODL research excellence within the institution.
The Open Distance Learning Postdoctoral Fellowship Programme is now open to all doctoral graduate with an interest in ODL and eLearning.
Requirements
- A doctoral degree (awarded within the past five years)
- Publication of at least one ODL peer-reviewed article or one conference paper
- Strong in the main field of open distance eLearning
- Have a clear grounding in digital literacy
- Excel in the development of Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs), Open Educational Resources (OER) and online assessments
- Strong in technology-assisted teaching and learning
- Knowledgeable in ODL theory and practice or
- Have current research which can be channeled into the ODL field
