MEDICAL PHYSICIST (INTERN)

CENTRE : Groote Schuur Hospital, Observatory

REQUIREMENTS :

• Minimum educational qualification: An appropriate qualification that allows for registration with the HPCSA as Medical Physicist (Intern).
• Registration with a professional council: Registration with the Health Profession Council of South Africa as a Medical Physicist Intern.
• Competencies (knowledge/skills): Be a highly motivated and methodical individual who pays attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Computer literate. Good communication and interpersonal relationship skills. Insight and problem solving capabilities. Mathematical competency. Understand the theoretical physics of radiotherapy, diagnostic radiology and nuclear medicine
