Job Description

The National Health Laboratory Service (NHLS) is offering exciting opportunities to take part in a one (1) year graduate internship programme in the following departments: Human Resources, Information Technology, Finance, CEO’s Office, Academic Affairs and Research and Diagnostic Media Products. The programme will commence in January 2020.

During this period, the Interns will work under supervision of a mentor who will guide, support and monitor them during the one (1) year programme. Interns will receive a stipend salary in line with the sectoral determination. No accommodation or transport will be provided.

Minimum Requirements with no previous internship participation: –

  • Grade 12: Commercial Subjects (Reference number: IP1119/001-1)
  • National Diploma: Majors in Accounting and Costing (Reference number: IP1119/001-2)
  • National Diploma: Human Resource Management (Reference number: IP1119/001-3)
  • National Diploma: Biotechnology (Reference number: IP1119/001-4)
  • National Diploma: Office Management / Administration (Reference number: IP1119/001-5)
  • National Diploma: Biomedical Technology (Reference number: IP1119/001-6)
  • National Diploma: Business Studies (Reference number: IP1119/001-7)
  • National Diploma: Information Technology (Reference number: IP1119/001-8)
  • National Diploma: Supply Chain Management (Reference number: IP1119/001-9)
  • Bachelor of Commerce: Majors in Accounting (Reference number: IP1119/001-10)
  • Bachelor of Commerce: Information Systems (Reference number: IP1119/001-11)

All successful interns must be prepared to work or be placed at various NHLS offices country-wide.
