Umuzi Academy Learnership , an initiative by Umuzi, in partnership with Investec Bank, the Da Vinci Institute and The Creative Circle, are offering a one-year, paid learnership programme to develop the next generation of creative professionals from eKasi.
Umuzi is looking for aspiring Graphic Designers, Digital Marketers and Copywriters for the July 2015 Intake. Now is your chance to grab your spot in a unique learnership programme, where you’ll gain experience, develop creative skills and prepare to join the creative economy.
1. Copywriting
We are looking for individuals who are brimming with new ideas and have a passion for transforming them into catchy, relevant copy (slogans, strategies, press releases, etc.). These copywriters will join our creative agency to produce real client work, while earning themselves an NQF level 5 qualification. After a year of work experience and learning with the Umuzi Academy, the copywriters will be given the opportunity to seek full-time employment with one of South Africa’s top creative agencies.
2. Digital Marketing
We are looking for young individuals who have a passion for the creative industry and have been applying their creativity through digital marketing. We offer an opportunity to follow their passion and transform it into a profession. These digital marketers will join our creative agency to produce real client work, while earning themselves an NQF level 5 qualification. After a year of work experience and learning with the Umuzi Academy, the digital marketers will be given the opportunity to seek full-time employment with one of South Africa’s top creative agencies.
3. Graphic Design
We are looking for young individuals who have a passion for the creative industry and have been applying their creativity through drawing illustration and graphic design. We offer an opportunity to follow their passion and transform it into a profession. These graphic designers will join our creative agency to produce real client work, while earning themselves an NQF level 5 qualification. After a year of work experience and learning with the Umuzi Academy, the graphic designers will be given the opportunity to seek full-time employment with one of South Africa’s top creative agencies.
To be eligible you must:
- Be South African
- Be between 20 and 25 years old
- Have passed Matric
- Have NO criminal record
Failure to fit to these criteria will disqualify your application.
