Description
SAT is developing a novel replacement aortic valve and deployment system and a repair device for a mitral valve. SAT works closely with clinicians at Groote Schuur hospital and is ideally placed to rapidly develop these life-saving devices. Interns will have the opportunity to work side by side with engineers, doctors and scientists through the product development process.
Requirements
- The candidate should have an engineering (mechanical preferred) or scientific background or
- Engineering background (3rd year) or
- Science background (3rd year)
