HOW TO APPLY FOR THE R350 CORONAVIRUS RELIEF GRANT

R350 Grant Appeals Now Open

ou can now appeal to have your R350 grant application reconsidered. Keep reading to find out how this works and how to submit a R350 grant appeal.Advertisement

The appeals process for the Special Relief of Distress (SRD) grant is now open. SASSA urges applicants who had their application rejected to appeal should they feel that it was done unfairly.

Often, applicants find that they’ve been rejected due to being ‘IRP5 Registered’ or the system tells them they receive UIF funds which would then make them ineligible for the grant. If applicants should find this happening to them and it’s not true, they should then appeal.

Appeals are a second chance and SASSA will then go ahead and reconsider your application.

Applicants only have 30 days after their SRD grant is rejected to submit a R350 grant appeal.
