Commencing Salary Notch: R123 738.00

REQUIREMENTS:

• A minimum of Grade 12 certificate or equivalent qualification with up to 1 year relevant experience.
• An understanding of Public Sector Financial Administration and the prescription/provision of PFMA and Treasury Regulations.
• Computer literacy in Ms Word and Excel.
• Ability to effectively function as part of a team

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

• Billing of services rendered
• Capture revenue transactions in financial and hospital systems.
• Banking of revenue collected.
• Perform daily revenue reconciliation.
• Perform cashier duties.
• Reconciliation of debtors accounts.
• Recovery of patient tees debts.
• Maintain updated relevant registers and books.
• Follow up and trace all accounts outstanding according to policies and procedures.
• Capture revenue transactions in financial and hospital systems.
• Perform revenue allocation per responsibility.
• Perform daily revenue reconciliation.
• Safeguard of state resources/forms/books.
• Handle direct and internet deposits by clients/funders
• Liaise with all stakeholders on matters affecting cashier duties.
• Maintain updated relevant registers and books.
