Job Purpose

The Department of Local Government, Western Cape Government has an employment opportunity for a dynamic individual to support the municipal infrastructure directorate by administering the financial management, expenditure monitoring and reporting of Municipal Infrastructure activities internally, to municipalities and to national departments. This post is based in Cape Town, CBD.

Key Performance Area

– Process monthly Municipal infrastructure claims – Follow-up with municipality re-ommisions/errors – Ensure allocation per municipality is not depleted – Prepare claims/payment schedule – Correlate figures with that of the project manager

Minimum Requirements

– Grade 12 (Senior Certificate or equivalent qualification) – A minimum of 6 years relevant experience.
