PLEASE NOTE:

  1. Both under-graduate and post-graduate candidates may apply
  2. Immediate CETA employee’s family members may not apply
  3. Students currently funded through CETA funded entities may not apply
  4. Full times students registered with a public institution of their choice may apply
  5. Applications will only be considered from South African citizens

The Construction Education and Training Authority is inviting suitable candidates who are interested in Construction Related studies to apply for bursary from the year 2019.

SELECTION CRITERIA

  • 60% Grade 12 academic achievements with both Mathematics and Physical Science at level 5 or above
  • No Bursaries will be granted to existing students who are not promoted to the next year of study and have failed more than two subjects
  • Applications from designated groups will be given preference.

SUPPORTING DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED

  • Certified copy of ID document
  • Certified copy of guardian/parents proof of income or social grant/pension
  • Letter of acceptance from tertiary institution: University or University of Technology
  • Full academic history for students already studying at University or University of Technology
  • Grade 12 June 2017 results for Matriculants
  • Age (not more than 35 years of age)
  • Income (parents not earning more than R350k per annum)

CLOSING DATE: 31 January 2019
A bursary for the maximum of R80 000.00 per annum will be awarded to successful candidates covering the costs for tuition fees, prescribed books/stationery, residence costs and meals.
