Internship Location: Centurion, Gauteng

Internship Closing Date: 26 April 2022

Requirements

  • LLB degree
  • Admitted attorney (an advantage).
  • Interest in financial services industry, specifically long-term insurance, retirement and associated products.

Duties

  • Assist with legal functions relating to retail products and retirement fund governance.
  • Keeping abreast of legislative developments.
  • Reviewing, interpreting and implementing relevant legislation in collaboration with the Compliance Team.
  • Legal research on pertinent issues that impact on the MML business.
  • Drafting of responses to disputes.
  • Drafting of legal updates on industry topics.
  • General Corporate Governance issues.
