Company: Leading auctioneer, asset management services and valuations company based in the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town.
Purpose: To work closely with the Accounts team and assisting with debtors, creditors, data analysis, reconciliations and balance sheet accounts to gain working experience.
Internship details:
This is a full-time internship for a 12-month period that will suit somebody studying part time towards their degree or diploma or seeking in-service training to complete their qualification. This is a critical criteria and applicants will not be considered if this criteria is not met.
Location: This is an in-office role in Retreat. It is a prerequisite that the suitable candidate is based on the Southern Suburbs. Please do not apply if this is not the case.
Minimum Requirements:
- Studying towards a Degree / Diploma in Financial Management majoring in Accounting.
- No working experience is necessary.
- Computer literate with knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word and MS Outlook.
- Understanding of bookkeeping, debtors, creditors etc.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good interpersonal and organisational skills
- Willingness to learn
- Strictly open to EE candidates only as part of the company’s BEE plan. Candidates must be a South African citizen by birth
- Candidate must live in the Southern Suburbs and be able to work full time
