Job Summary:
The purpose of this Graphic Design intern position is in support of the successful promotion of Fetola and Fetola’s programmes. This is achieved by creating effective graphic content that promote and encourage engagement of the target audience. The ability to play a role in creating and sharing social media advantageous. This is an important learning role that requires intelligent application and excellent design & communication skills to deliver cost-effective solutions that lead to best results.
Duties include, but not limited to:
- Implement Graphic design solutions
- Design and Implement effective, high quality professional Graphic design solutions for Fetola, including internal, external and public presentations
- Implement the Social media programme-Develop and write media copy
- Identify and implement social media sharing (FB, twitter, Linked in etc.)
- Assess, analyse and report success rates.
- Assist with GAP & Fetola programmes as required – including communications, sales, matching and reporting etc.
- Capture and maintain accurate reports relating to this portfolio
Requirements:
- Degree (Media, Graphic design)
Software competencies:
- Excel, Word, Outlook
- Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
- Excellent spoken and written English and good inter-personal skills.
- Must be prepared to work hard and find solutions in a dynamic work environment.
- Should reside in the Southern Suburbs
- Have a valid driver’s license (advantageous)
- Internet / Research-Have the ability to conduct basic internet based research Knowledge
- A fairly good understanding of the small business environment as well as enterprise development Attributes
- Analytical thinking
- Problem solving ability
