1. Risk Management: Assist in monitoring the implementation of recommendations in the Audit Tracking Report and Strategic and Operational Risk Registers
2. Shadow the Internal Audit Champion from the Audit, Risk & Governance (ARG) team. Follow the Champion’s guidance and learn on the job.
3. Once enough experience has been gained, execute the Champion’s duties on an internal audit, guided by the Compliance Officer.
4. Assist in the Audit Risk and Governance team the following:

  • Preparation for the Risk Management Committee and Audit & Risk Committee meetings quarterly.
  • Compilation of reports, as far as possible.
  • Overseeing the Inventory Management process led by the ARG team.
  • Initiate awareness initiatives for the Fraud Risk Management process.
  • Coordinating the Fraud Prevention Committee.
  • Monitoring the implementation of the Fraud implementation Plan.
  • The review and implementation of the Business Continuity Plan.:


A Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management.

The ideal candidate will have the following competencies:


  • analyse and interpret risk/reward profiles
  • assist in directing compliance goals
  • attain established compliance goals as directed by senior management
  • Ensure adherence and compliance to internal risk controls
  • Provide assistance to management in providing analyses, appraisals, recommendations and advice in governing processes and sysystems
  • Planning and project management, and in maintaining composure under pressure while meeting multiple deadlines.
  • Conduct quality control reviews
