SASSETA Discretionary Grant 2015/2016: First Funding Window (Busaries and Work Experiential Learning Placements)

The Safety and Security Sector Education Training Authority (SASSETA) invites applications from all sector stakeholders bearing in mind that the following will be given preference:

– Learners from the rural areas currently studying & writing matric in 2014
– Learners from the rural areas enrolled at Public University or TVET (FET) Colleges
– TVET Colleges Graduates or Learners completing this year 2014 from the rural areas
– Unemployed youth out of school from the rural areas

– Graduates from Universities of Technologies completing 2014 or completed (also note learners from the rural areas)

Due to the high volume of applications anticipated SASSETA does not enter into correspondence with unsuccessful applicants Should you not receive any written communication from SASSETA confirming that you have been successful within three months of closing date, your application should be considered as unsuccessful.

All applications must reach SASSETA on or before the 22 December 2014 at 16H00.

All chambers’ applications must be accompanied by a SASSETA prescribed learners’ list with certified copies of learners’ ID. Learners should register by February 2015.
