Forek Institute of Technology is an Artisan Training and Development private college that was founded by Mr EF Sibiya in 2009, who has a vision of uplifting and upskilling the whole world especially youth. The College began its operation at 9 Piet Retief Street in Nelspruit CBD, which was a small and confined place. Our first accredited was with MICT SETA End User Computing level 3.In 2012 the college was accredited by UMALUSI and Department of Higher Education & Training to offer Nated courses from N1 to N6 in Engineering and Business Studies, moreover the college expanded to various SETAs.

The college relocated to Kabokweni Industrial area in January 2017, as we were expanding the scope to Occupational Trade qualifications. In the same year the college received an accreditation from QCTO (Quality Council for Trades & Occupations) to offer Electrician, Welding and Plumber Apprenticeship training and we managed to create state of the art workshops for Electrician, Welding & Plumber.
