Nokeng Fluorspar Mine: Learnership Opportunity 2021
The Dr Lelau Mohuba Training Centre (an independent training centre wholly owned by Nokeng Fluorspar Mine) is offering free skills training in blocks of 60 learners per period.
Start date: June 2021
The following programmes are open for applications:
Community House Building
Requirements: Grade 9 with Maths and Science
Boilermaker-Welder Aide
Requirements: Grade 9 with Maths and Science
Fitter Aide
Requirements: Grade 9 with Maths and Science
Electrician Aide
Requirements: Grade 9 with Maths and Science
The training does not automatically qualify successful learners to be employed by Nokeng Fluorspar Mine. The training is, however, helpful for career success in all other industries. Successful learners will be assisted to compile their CVs so that they can apply for jobs as is appropriate.
Successful applicants will receive free study materials and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), which must be kept clean and safe at all times. Lectures will be provided by suitably qualified Course Facilitators. The mine will also provide transport assistance to and from the training centre as is appropriate.

- Pienaars River,
- Rust de Winter,
- De Wagendsdrift
- Nokaneng.
NB. Applicants will be required to provide proof of residence that is approved by the relevant Councillor and/or Chief.
