1.1 Civil Student Trainees [x9]
Requirements: Must have acquired all academic courses for a Civil Engineering , diploma and short of in-service training only.
Knowledge and Skills: Computer literacy and good communication skills.
Duties: Main duties will include, but not limited to: site supervision of roadworks, concrete structures and wet and dry services; Requesting inspections for your work done: etc.
1.2 Surveying Trainee [x3]
Requirements: Must have acquired all academic courses for a Surveying diploma and short of in-service training only.
Knowledge and Skills: Computer literacy and good communication skills.
Duties: Main duties will Include, but not limited assisting the Surveyor with his surveying duties,
1.3 Occupational Health and Safety Trainee [x3]
Requirements: Must have acquired all academic courses for an OHS diploma and short of in-service training only. Or is qualified in SAMTRAC and requires and has no experience.
Knowledge and Skills: Computer literacy and good communication skills.
Duties: Main duties will Include, but not limited assisting the OHS team on site with their day to day duties such as traffic accommodation, checklists, safe working procedures, DSTI, Toolbox talks, barricacting excavations etc.
1.4 Environmental Trainee [x3]
Requirements: Must have acquired all academic courses for an Environmental Management diploma and short of in-service training only
Knowledge and Skills: Computer literacy and good communication skills.
Duties: Main duties will Include, but not limited to waste management, preservation of indigenous arid exotic rare forestry, compliance with environmental laws, etc.
1.5 Junior Clerk Trainee [x3]
Requirements: Grade 12
Knowledge and Skills: Computer literacy and good communication skills.
Duties. Main duties will include, but not limited to: updating Microsoft Share Point folders: Fig: obtaining administration related quotes; etc
1.6 Electrical Student Trainee [x3]
Requirements: Must have acquired all academic courses loran Electrical Engineering (Heavy Current) diploma and short of in-service training only.
Knowledge and Skills: Computer literacy and good communication skills.
Duties: Main duties will include, but not limited to wiring.
